Building a community
Sherwood House is a community. We support our residents to make both friendships and memories.
Our dedicated activity coordinator runs a huge range of events and activities - everything from afternoon tea and quizzes to bingo and movie nights. Residents are welcome to join in as much or as little as they like - as are their families.
For those who like to get out and about we can arrange supported trips to local parks, restaurants, museums and other local attractions.
Our garden and grounds
Sherwood House is set in beautiful, mature grounds, which are available for residents and their families to use. There are seating areas where people can spend time reading, chatting, or simply watching the birds.
Friends and family are always welcome to visit their loved ones at Sherwood House.
"We’ve got such a lovely garden. We sit outside lots in the summer and we often have our afternoon tea out there. Last year we even held a summer fete, and invited all our family and friends."
